Vikings arrived back on campus last week and kicked the year off with Viking Venture, Welcome Back Weekend, and First Year Service Day. Viking Venture is a continuation of new student orientation and includes Move-In Day, Rage in the Cage, New Faces Talent Show, Slip n' Slide, and more. The Welcome Back Weekend began with a bash filled with inflatables and music, and ended with a concert featuring Frienship. Following the first week of classes is First Year Service Day where all freshmen volunteer to help local nonprofits and clean up around the Rome area.
